ASUS X555DA-WS11 Review

ASUS-X555DA-WS11

Today I am happy to review the new ASUS X555DA-WS11 laptop. It features AMD’s newest Quad Core A10-8700P processor clocked at 1.8 GHz with turbo to 3.2 GHz. This processor is not only fast but it also has a Radeon R6 graphics chip built in, making it much better for gaming than the newest Intel chips with Intel HD graphics. It comes loaded with a whopping 8 GB of DDR-3 standard making it quite capable, even for those who are addicted to tabs (such as myself). The 1 TB hard drive will give you plenty of space to store your music, videos, and apps. This laptop offering is topped off with not only a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty but also a 1 year accidental damage warranty so no matter what happens to your laptop in the first year it’s covered.

AMD Quad Core A10-8700P Processor

AMD certainly hasn’t been run out of the processor market by Intel; quite the opposite in fact. Their new line of A10 processors push the limits of mobile computing while also offering an impressive graphics chipset built-in. Your system will run nice and cool with the power-sipping 1.8 GHz clock speed while also being able to handle whatever you throw at it in turbo mode with speeds eclipsing 3.2 GHz.

More RAM Than You Can Shake a Stick At

4 GB is a perfectly acceptable amount of RAM for a laptop… built in 2012. In case you haven’t already noticed, we’re living in the future, my friend! Bigger is definitely better when it comes to RAM in your computer. Do you really want to have your system bog down while you’re trying to load 200 YouTube videos simultaneously in order to piss off your neighbors? I know I don’t. That’s why I would definitely recommend grabbing a laptop, such as the ASUS X555DA-WS11, with 8 GB of RAM in order to future proof yourself.

Cold as Ice

The ASUS X555DA-WS11 features ASUS’s IceCool technology that helps to keep the palm rest comfortable while you divulge yourself in 16 hours of YouTube, Reddit, and Netflix. Because, after all, how are you going to Netflix and Chill with sweaty palms? This is a feature that I’ve been saying laptop manufacturers should have included a looooooooooonnnggg time ago. I guess ASUS finally decided to take up mind reading and give me what I want! Kudos to them, indeed.

1 Year Accidental Damage Warranty

Great news, now you can be as careless as you want with your new $500 laptop! Like to indulge in booze, fast women and other risky behavior? No problem! Even if a prostitute “accidentally” knocks your laptop on the floor when you’re unable to acquire funds to cover your night of romance after a 3-day bender, you’re covered! So go ahead, get wild and live a little!

Conclusion

It isn’t hard to write a positive review for the ASUS X555DA-WS11. It packs a big punch of performance with an itsy-bitsy price tag. This laptop would be perfect for students, working professionals, and home users alike. The performance is great and the warranty offered by ASUS leads the industry.
