            Many Modern Features

This is a laptop with a mid-range price point that boasts A LOT of modern features. First off, it has 256 GB of SSD storage which makes the operating system and applications load quickly. It also has USB 3.1 C, the latest version of USB that has a reversible cord (never plug your USB in wrong again!) and enough bandwidth to drive 4K UHD monitors (noice!). This Asus laptop also has the latest Bluetooth 4.1 and Wireless AC WiFi.

I dare you to find another laptop in this price range that has all of these amenities. You get a very modern laptop at a price that’s about 20-25% below the competition from one of the best laptop manufacturers in the industry. This one is a no-brainer!

            Amazing Battery Life

This laptop has a 38 Whr polymer battery that is said to last up to 2 and a half times as long as a traditional lithium ion battery. The 6th generation Core i5 Skylake processor and SSD storage also helps to ensure maximum efficiency and battery life.

The only downside is that the battery cannot be removed, unlike most laptops. There’s probably a way for a tech to change the battery, but it’s not going to be as easy as unlocking the battery and sliding it out. After a few years, you may be left with a laptop that lacks battery life with no way to change it. Laptop batteries are usually fairly expensive anyway and after a few years you’ll probably be ready to upgrade anyway, so it’s not a huge deal.

            Powerful Multitasking

The Core i5 processors, along with the 8 GB of RAM and SSD storage, makes this laptop super snappy. The operating system loads quickly and is incredibly responsive. I really like the fact that Asus didn’t skimp in the RAM department on this budget-friendly model. You might not be able to play modern games on the highest settings, but you’ll definitely notice super smooth performance for web browsing, watching HD videos, and modern applications.

            Full HD Matte Display

I would personally never buy a laptop with a glossy screen. I understand that it’s helpful for contrast and things of that nature, but I really dislike how they pick up fingerprints, dust, and glare. This is an honest and true FULL HD display with a 1920×1080 pixel resolution, unlike those other “HD” displays that people sell that are only 1366×768 and could only display 720p at best. While this isn’t the most high-end panel on the market, it’s definitely sufficient and works nicely.
